About Me

As a high school student, I found my passion for storytelling in my journalism classes. Over time I expanded into photography and later videography to tell compelling stories about the world around me. I have been fortunate enough to work with several nonprofits in my area to create a diverse photo portfolio. I am a recent graduate of the University of Montevallo. I earned a degree in Mass Communication with minors in Studio Art and Public Relations.

I always gravitated toward stories of the nonfiction variety and as a creator and journalist, I want to put beauty back into the real stories around us. My goal is to create visually captivating pieces that can be used as tools of education or inspiration for a wide audience. I want to make the stories that may not reach mainstream media outlets accessible to all that have the desire to widen their knowledge of the world around us.

My ultimate goal is to work with organizations that inspire me while accomplishing big goals through outreach and communication efforts.
